To compliment our design facility we offer a state of the art digital photography service to capture the very best high resolution images to incorporate into all of your packaging requirements.
Artwork & Design
Brownett Ltd offer a full design facility for producing print ready digital artwork utilising our skilled operators and in house designers, working from clients concept briefing or originating new digital artwork from printed samples. We use the latest industry standard software packages on all of our Apple Mac workstations.
Reprographics
Our studio is equipped with the latest Apple Mac workstations and a team of highly experienced operators whose attention to detail will deliver accurate print ready files incorporating customer specific requirements, colour retouching and press profiling to the highest standards. All the latest versions of software are used: Artpro – Quark Express – Illustrator – Freehand – Photoshop – Indesign – Coreldraw – Acrobat
Proofing
We create various types of proofs, ranging from soft remote proofing in PDF format enabling fast customer approval and amendments, through to high quality contract digital GMG proofs, colour calibrated and screened to your press characteristics matching the final print results on press.
Digital Flexo Platemaking
The latest direct to plate imaging technologies are used to produce the highest quality digital and HD Flexographic printing plates. We can supply a full range of plate materials and thicknesses from all the leading plate manufacturers, in addition we supply Letterpress printing plates in both digital and analogue materials.
Press Fingerprinting
Brownett Ltd offers a full fingerprinting and press evaluation service, to obtain the technical data specific to your press for dot gain and colour management information required to produce accurate colour correct digital proofs and plate originations.
Quality Control
At Brownett’s we take quality of product and service to be paramount and to this end have developed very high standards of inspection at all stages of production. We utilise the latest “Dot-Spy” software & “VipFlex” hardware to check all digital files and plates throughout the workflow, all data is recorded on our bespoke management information system against specific customer specifications before final despatch.
